Bulletin Board Message


Adult Basic Education provides instruction to adult in the basic skill areas, including reading, writing, math, communications and computer skills. Instruction in provided in an open classroom with strong individual attention. Classes are located at Chestertown Middle School and Kent Family Center.

Enrollment is open and on-going. Our classes open to anyone who would like to improve his/her reading and writing skills, or those who are working towards taking their GED exam. New students are welcome to come and join our classes at anytime.


Our teachers will meet with you, assess your needs and prepare a program of study based upon your goals and your needs. Classes are conducted in an open classroom environment, with both group and individual study taking place.
